Description

We are looking for a Sr Social Media Strategist in the Steel Manufacturing industry, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing the digital communications, including social media, web, and email, as well as creating and implementing content strategies for digital campaigns and platforms. This role is also responsible for developing and executing a digital brand strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for social media, web, and email platforms
  • Manage all digital communications, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms
  • Oversee and manage social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.
  • Utilize tools such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite to track and analyze the performance of digital campaigns
  • Design and execute digital campaigns, including advertisements and blogging, to increase brand awareness
  • Plan and implement effective social media strategies to increase engagement and reach
  • Analyze and report on social media content performance and adjust strategies as needed
  • Develop and implement a digital brand strategy to align with the company's overall brand strategy
  • Utilize knowledge of digital marketing trends to keep the company at the forefront of industry developments


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in the digital communications field, particularly as a content strategist or digital marketer managing successful social media, web, email, text or other digital campaigns and platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience in writing for social media and the web
  • Ability to identify target audiences' preferences and produce tailored content
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
  • Travel and irregular hours will be required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Digital Strategy or relevant field
