**Hybrid | Westlake, TX**

We are currently looking for a Senior Software/Cloud Engineer. The role of the Senior Software/Cloud Engineer is to implement and support internally developed system(s), API(s), vendor supported encryption and key management software, and related services to protect critical Enterprise Data. This role offers exposure to industry leading Cryptographic processes & practices, hands-on exposure to Hardware Security Modules, and API driven Key Management as a Service (KMaaS v2) solution in addition to leading systems monitoring tools & technologies.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $77 - $83 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for Engineering activities that involve Key Management & Encryption environment by working with Business Unit application teams and internal customers.
  • You will use well established Enterprise standards, processes, and procedures to ensure Engineering activities are delivered in a timely fashion with high quality of work product.
  • Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
  • Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle

Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology discipline
  • Proven experience in a distributed IT Engineering and/or support function
  • Demonstrated experience with implementing and supporting APIs, Key Management & Encryption products, and solutions.
  • 6+ year's experience with cloud computing (setup, migration, management etc.,)
  • 6+ years of experience with systems and application engineering involving OS hardening, setting up and managing logging and monitoring capabilities for enterprise systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of OS (Linux and Windows) from security point of view (configuration, hardening etc.).
  • Knowledge of deploying and managing APIs, and automation/scripting (JAVA, Python/Bash, PowerShell etc.).
  • Experience with on-prem and/or cloud based key management solutions like AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault etc. is highly desired
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good system analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and ability to work in a fast-paced Enterprise environment is desired.


Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
