Develop standards, best practices, and POC s for engineering IT solutions, and develop, design, code, debug and document projects and programs. Review solutions for business objectives, enterprise IT environment, intangibles. Confer with IT team and industry groups, review software engineering issues, security, requirements. Perform unit and integration testing. Identify problems, analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate validation plans. Use Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka, CI/CD, GitHub, Jenkins, Java, Spring Security, Microservices, Restful Web Services, Hibernate, MongoDB, Oracle, Redis Cache, Docker, Gradle, Junit, Mockito, IntelliJ IDE, JIRA, Confluence, Splunk, Kafka, Logback, Data Security, Multithreading.

40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience developing proof of concepts; performing coding, and unit and integration testing; reviewing security and requirements; using Spring Boot, Java, Microservices, Junit, JIRA, Confluence. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted.
