We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Azure to support our Marketing and Corporate Communications Technology Services team. The Opportunity:

Fisher Investments is looking for a versatile Senior Software Engineer - Azure to support the engineering and delivery of our Unified Digital Experience platform. This platform powers our corporate website, client portal, and a portfolio of engaging digital products for clients and prospects. You will bring strong experience developing secure, scalable back-end services while also being comfortable working on front-end interfaces. Have a full-stack mindset with a focus on API development, systems integration, and delivering seamless user experiences across channels. You will report to the Digital Engineering Manager.

The Day-to-Day:
  • Design and build microservices and serverless applications using Azure AKS, Functions, App Services, Event Hubs, Service Bus
  • Contribute to system design with emphasis on scalability, fault tolerance, multi-region deployments, and data residency compliance
  • Develop and optimize REST/GraphQL APIs and backend services that integrate with media platforms (Kaltura, Azure Media Services), CDPs (Twilio Segment), and Salesforce Experience Cloud
  • Define and manage infrastructure with Terraform/Bicep/ARM templates
  • Build event-driven pipelines (Kafka/Event Hubs) for telemetry, personalization, and analytics
  • Implement identity management with Azure AD B2C, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and integrate with Okta/Auth0 where required
  • Partner with architects, DevOps engineers, and front-end/full-stack teams to ensure end-to-end solution quality

Your Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of professional professional software engineering experience
  • 3+ years experience building cloud-native applications
  • Deep expertise in back-end development with .NET Core and Node.js
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure services: AKS, Functions, App Services, Event Hubs, Blob Storage, Key Vault, API Management
  • Strong knowledge of event-driven and microservices architectures, security best practices, including encryption, token-based auth, and secure data access
  • Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, identity, and compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to design for resilience (retry, circuit breaker, failover, multi-region scaling)
  • Familiarity with integrating CRM systems, media platforms, content systems, and customer data tools
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field

Compensation:
  • $125,000-$165,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
