This role is located in our Austin, TX office and has a schedule of 4 days on-site and 1 day work from home.

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer with a focus on React web development . As an awesome candidate, you will have multiple years of experience creating and maintaining highly performant React-based web applications that drive the growth of our Land.com business unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, support and maintain React-based web applications using React, Typescript, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, C# and SQL
  • Analyze technical requirements and design new components, web pages and controls to meet functional, performance and availability requirements
  • Apply software design patterns, sound quality management methods, tools, and techniques to create and support defect-free application software that meets the needs of the organization with high reusability and maintainability
  • Write thorough unit tests to ensure the quality of the software you own
  • Develop database stored procedures and SQL scripts


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or college
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers
  • 4+ years of development experience in production environment
  • Expert knowledge of React
  • Demonstrated knowledge of C#, JavaScript ES6 or Typescript
  • Experience with software testing (Unit, Integration, Functional, Performance)
  • Experience working within an Agile team environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns
  • Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas within and across teams
  • Ability to work well with other developers and management
  • Ability to juggle priorities and work with minimal supervision or assistance to complete tasks


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of React architecture and performance optimization
  • Deep experience architecting systems using C#, .NET Development
  • Expert-level knowledge and experience using SQL
  • Experience with Visual Studio or Azure DevOps or Git
  • Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
