Job Details
Role: Senior Software Engineer (Kotlin, Bazel & gRPC)
Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid - 3 to 4 days a week onsite)
Job Type: W2 Contract
Contract length: 1 year

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend services using Kotlin and gRPC for a sophisticated grid planning tool
- Develop and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas and queries for optimal performance
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin with experience building production-grade backend services
- Experience with gRPC, protocol buffers, and API design for distributed systems
- Familiarity with Bazel build system and modern CI/CD practices
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and database optimization techniques
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and infrastructure
