Senior Software Engineer
The location is NYC, Hybrid.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Python, SQL and DOS batch files.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Design and develop reports.
- Collaborate effectively within the development team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Advanced SQL skills, including stored procedures, functions, and complex queries.
- Knowledge of DOS batch scripting is required.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services preferred.
- Experience with financial services domain is preferred.
- Knowledge of COBOL is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
