Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a team delivering high-quality technology solutions that help our business run smoothly. You will design, develop, and install software applications, working with a variety of technologies to build solutions that meet business needs. You will also help test, troubleshoot, and improve software, making sure it works reliably and efficiently.

You will work closely with project managers, business analysts, and IT infrastructure teams, and you may provide guidance and mentoring to other developers. The role involves working on both small and large projects, using either Agile or Waterfall approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy software applications using modern technologies.

• Solve complex problems with logical, creative, and practical solutions.

• Align software solutions with business goals and objectives.

• Communicate clearly about project progress, challenges, and results.

• Create presentations and demos for stakeholders of all levels.

• Maintain documentation for software and system processes.

• Suggest improvements to processes, tools, and applications.

• Share knowledge and mentor team members.

• Stay up-to-date with the company s products and technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 10+ years of software development experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

• Strong skills in:

  • .NET (C# and VB), Windows Services, ASP.NET WebAPI, WebForms, Blazor

  • Python and DjangoDRF

  • Front-end development: React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap

  • Database query writing: MS SQL, Postgres, Oracle

  • Powershell scripting

  • Software packaging/installers (WiX)

  • ORM tools (Entity Framework, Dapper, RepoDb)
