RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Smithfield, RI.
Responsibilities:
* Actively working towards delivery of solutions through work in cross-functional squads including product, analysis, architecture, and engineering to deliver end-to-end capabilities that provide the best customer experience
* Exploring new technology trends and using them to advance our capabilities
* Communicating and collaborating effectively with and to influence squad members and external groups, including navigating the organization to effectively accomplish tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
* BS or MS in Computer Science or Information Systems, or related field
* 6+ years of professional software development experience
* Experience working towards delivery of application solutions operating as part of a larger ecosystem
* Experience in Spring Frameworks specifically Spring security, Spring Batch and Spring Boot
* Experience in Cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
* Experience in design and development of REST API and Implementing Microservices
* Experience with Automation Tools/Frameworks (Junit, Cucumber/JBehave, etc.)
* Experience with DevOps, CI/CD using tools like Jenkins, uDeploy, Cloud Formation, etc.
* Experience with SQL programming; building queries and stored procedures/functions
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
* Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* You have standout interpersonal skills
* You have worked in an Agile environment
* Experience with UI technologies (Angular, JavaScript or other UI framework) is a plus
* Knowledge of Salesforce, Snowflake and Python scripting is a plus
* Financial services industry experience is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
