The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Over 5 years of professional software development expertise, with a solid grounding in Scala/Python and backend engineering.
- Proficiency with streaming data frameworks like Kafka and building cloud-based applications, primarily using AWS.
- Experience with technologies including Scala (ZIO and Akka), Python Flask, Kubernetes, AWS, Gitbub, and Datadog
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain APIs and backend services.
- Eagerness to take on new challenges and juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
