Senior Structural Engineer
Title: Senior Structural Engineer
Location: Anchorage, AK
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural engineering, specifically within the oil and gas industry. This role involves designing and analyzing structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading engineering projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems for various projects in the oil and gas industry.
- Lead project teams and collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other specialists.
- Conduct structural assessments and feasibility studies to ensure project viability.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project cycles.
- Participate in project planning and budgeting, ensuring timely delivery of engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on the oil and gas sector.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and design tools.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
