We are looking for Senior System Administrator for our client in Raleigh, NC
Job Title: Senior System Administrator

Job Description:
  • This role provides desktop and endpoint support to multiple agencies utilizing enterprise services.
  • The System Administrator Senior will perform hands-on and remote support activities, including PC replacements, imaging, troubleshooting, software installations, and asset management.
  • The position plays a critical role in maintaining high-quality desktop support for customers serving the citizens of North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide desktop and endpoint support to multiple agencies.
  • Perform PC replacements, imaging, hardware provisioning, and workstation setup.
  • Deliver remote support including troubleshooting and software installations.
  • Support Windows OS and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Support mobile devices and Apple devices.
  • Track onboarding and shipping activities using strong organizational skills.
  • Follow asset management processes to ensure accurate tracking and billing.
  • Document all work activities in ServiceNow.
  • Test Intune processes and provide feedback to Tier 3 teams.
  • Test system upgrades and software changes.
  • Install software following internal security and compliance processes.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and provide step-by-step guidance during remote support sessions.
  • Assist with developing team processes and maintaining the knowledge base.
  • Work with vendors on warranty and hardware support cases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
  • Hands-on experience with imaging and provisioning new hardware.
  • Experience supporting Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience supporting mobile and Apple devices.
  • Basic working knowledge of MECM, Active Directory, Tanium, Intune, and BeyondTrust.
Experience:
  • Proven experience providing enterprise desktop and endpoint support.
  • Experience working in an onsite, hands-on technical support environment.
Skills:
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow.
Qualification And Education:
  • Relevant technical education or equivalent professional experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
