RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Senior System Architect with deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform, particularly within the IT Asset Management (ITAM) space, including Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).

Summary:
This role will be critical in delivering scalable and innovative solutions across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, and especially ITAM, enabling the organization to manage assets, licensing, and infrastructure efficiently. The successful candidate will architect solutions that align with enterprise goals while ensuring platform stability, scalability, and operational effectiveness. The Senior System Architect will serve as a subject matter expert and play a central role in shaping the roadmap and architectural governance of the ServiceNow platform with an emphasis on ITAM functionality.

Responsibilities
* Architect and implement scalable ServiceNow ITAM solutions, with a focus on software/hardware asset management and license optimization
* Design end-to-end system architecture aligned with business needs and ServiceNow best practices
* Provide leadership in technology selection and systems integration across multiple ServiceNow modules
* Support governance and standards for architecture compliance and lifecycle
* Translate technical and business requirements into solution architecture and documentation
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, and external partners
* Serve as a mentor and provide architectural guidance to team members
* Lead or support major technology change initiatives and platform upgrades

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years of experience in system architecture, with a strong focus on ServiceNow
* Experience with platform architecture, service delivery, and integration
* In-depth knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Configuration Management.
* Proficiency in ServiceNow ITSM processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management
* Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, and Release Management methodologies
* Proficiency with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead discussions
* Deep understanding of cloud computing, DevSecOps, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
* Working knowledge of IoT, Edge Computing, and Process Orchestration
* Strong leadership, architecture design acumen, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to mentor junior team members

Proven hands-on expertise with the ServiceNow ITAM module, including:
* Software Asset Management (SAM)
* Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
* License management and optimization strategies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
