Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technology Delivery Leader to join our Transaction Monitoring Technology organization. This role is pivotal in driving the successful delivery of technology solutions that support our Financial Crime monitoring efforts, with a specific focus on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Transaction Monitoring surveillance.

The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in Financial Crime, a proven track record of implementing AML platforms in fast-paced environments, and strong leadership and communication skills to guide cross-functional teams through complex technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Transaction Monitoring technology solutions, ensuring alignment with AML program objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams to define and execute the technology roadmap.
  • Drive implementation of surveillance platforms and models, ensuring scalability, performance, and accuracy.
  • Manage delivery timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Ensure high-quality execution with attention to detail and adherence to governance standards.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business-relevant insights.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the delivery team.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in technology delivery, with at least 7 years in the Financial Crime or AML domain.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Transaction Monitoring platforms and surveillance systems.
  • Proven success in delivering complex technology solutions in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of AML regulations, typologies, and data requirements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with modern data platforms, case management systems, and analytics tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with vendor platform such as Actimize.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud-based architectures and data engineering in the context of Financial Crime.
  • Agile delivery experience and certification (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe) is a plus.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $160,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
