Job Description:

Parsons' Unconventional Access is looking for an amazingly talented, fully cleared (TS/SCI) Senior Test Engineer to join our team! This immediate opening is positioned in some of the most sought-after work in this development and engineering community.

In this role you will work to develop and execute tests and evaluation plans for custom hardware and software as a part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Plan and execute Testing, Data Collection, Performance Analysis, Modeling, and Simulation
  • Select, develop, and use analysis tools and Data & Configuration Management capabilities
  • Coordinate and integrate Evaluation and Testing tasks and products
  • Produce Evaluation Plans, Analysis Plans, Data Requirements, Risk Assessments, Evaluation Reports, Status reports, Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports/Briefings
  • Drive innovation and responsiveness to program changes and evolving test and evaluation (T&E) status to help manage program risk: develop alternative courses of action, work-arounds, and fall-back positions with a recommended course of action for each risk, and monitor and re-evaluate risks at appropriate milestones

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • A minimum of five (5) years experience as a test engineer and a Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or a related field
  • Four (4) years of additional test engineer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
  • Linux operating system experience
  • Test automation experience
  • Scripting experience

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Experience leading T&E teams or efforts
  • Basic familiarity with SVN or GIT version control systems and understanding of basic CM principles
  • Basic familiarity with JIRA or other ticketing tools
  • Basic understanding of C
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, ARP, ETHERNET, MPLS)
  • Hands on experience with test equipment like packet generators, Ixia/Spirent
  • Knowledge of telecom networks
  • Familiarity with network traces
  • Experience/knowledge setting up GRE or IPSEC
  • Familiarity with basic VLAN/VPN/NAT concepts
