Senior UX Designer - Enterprise Platforms
Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, CA preferred | Open to Fully Remote (U.S.)
Type: 12-Month W2 Contract
Pay: $65-$72/hour (based on experience)
Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a User Experience Designer to support a global leader in ecommerce and logistics innovation. This is a high-impact opportunity within a product design team dedicated to developing end-to-end logistics solutions that simplify global commerce. The role centers on crafting intuitive enterprise tools for a global marketplace that connects sellers, operators, and logistics providers.
Top Must-Have Skills
- Figma: Strong experience creating high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
- User-Centered Design: Ability to drive UX processes rooted in research, usability, and iterative feedback.
Responsibilities
- Create process flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate interaction behaviors and design direction.
- Apply user-centered design principles to develop effective solutions for complex enterprise tools.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and researchers to align on vision and execution.
- Conduct user research and usability testing; interpret analytics to inform design iterations.
- Present design work to internal stakeholders, including UX and product leadership, for feedback and alignment.
- Produce user journey maps, workflow diagrams, and documentation to support implementation.
- Contribute to and influence design system standards and scalable design frameworks.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of UX design experience for web or software applications, with an emphasis on enterprise or B2B platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and UI design.
- Strong online portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, system design, and high-impact UX outcomes.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of usability best practices, information architecture, and accessibility standards.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in agile, fast-paced product environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Omniture SiteCatalyst; experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Flash prototyping is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale platforms (e.g., AWS, Salesforce, SAP, HubSpot, IBM, or Boeing).
- Strong stakeholder management, decision-making, and presentation skills.
- Experience designing complex tools with a focus on workflow efficiency, user empathy, and business impact.
Key Projects
- Design for a freight-level booking experience (comparable to FedEx at scale)
- UX for operator tools used to monitor and manage shipments
- Internal dashboards that help business teams drive data-informed logistics planning
Additional Information
- This is a net-new role supporting design scale and future-state experience planning
- Strong potential for contract extension or conversion (not guaranteed)
- Candidates must be based in the United States; PST working hours preferred
