ServiceNow IRM Engineer
Remote

The ServiceNow IRM Engineer will be working as part of a dynamic and growing team. This role is responsible for designing scalable and optimal solutions across the Compliance and Risk domains, leveraging hands-on ServiceNow configuration and innovative technology to support business needs. The position blends technical expertise with business knowledge to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
Job Description
The ServiceNow IRM Engineer will be responsible for the timely delivery of development projects across the ServiceNow platform. The role covers the full development life cycle, from requirements analysis and design through build, testing, implementation, and documentation. The engineer will complete technical design documentation, provide estimates, conduct implementation/code reviews, and mentor team members on design and coding techniques. They will work closely with product owners, engineers, staff architects, and scrum teams to prepare configurations, align with testing strategies, and deliver quality solutions. The engineer will also contribute to technical roadmaps, tooling evaluations, and architectural direction as business needs evolve.

Required Skills
- 8+ years overall development experience
- 3+ years hands-on experience in ServiceNow including Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions/components
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configurations, workflows, scripting, UI policies, ACLs, Integrations, and CMDB
- Experience with JavaScript, API (Restful), XML, Java, Jelly scripting, Angular JS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present technical solutions to both technical and business leaders
- Strong understanding of GRC/IRM industry trends
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
- Experience in systems analysis/programming
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator credentials
- 5+ years Agile Framework experience including Scaled Agile Framework
- Knowledge of Machine Learning or Generative AI
