Job Description:
  • The ServiceNow Solution Architect will lead the end-to-end architectural design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across the organization.
  • This role requires a highly skilled hands-on developer and architect who can configure, customize, and optimize the ServiceNow platform, provide technical leadership to development teams, and guide strategic decisions to align with business objectives and IT strategy.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead solution architecture and design for ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with business objectives, IT strategy, and best practices.
  • Serve as a hands-on technical expert, configuring, customizing, and developing complex functionalities on the ServiceNow platform, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Act as a technical advisor and mentor for developers and administrators, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and design documents.
  • Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, and other protocols; drive automation initiatives across the platform.
  • Define and enforce platform governance, architectural standards, and best practices; proactively identify and address performance, scalability, and security issues.
  • Contribute to the long-term technical roadmap for ServiceNow, evaluating new features and recommending future enhancements.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and architecture experience.

  • Deep expertise in ServiceNow core modules:

    IT Service Management (ITSM): Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog
  • IT Operations Management (ITOM): Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management
  • IT Asset Management (ITAM): Software and Hardware Asset Management
  • CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) design and maintenance
  • Expert in scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide) and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Proven experience with integrations (SOAP/REST, IntegrationHub).
  • Strong understanding of platform-level administration: business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and client scripts.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and at least two Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) credentials.
  • Experience with additional ServiceNow modules: Workplace Service Delivery, GRC, HRSD, SecOps, or CSM.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ITIL principles.
