SharePoint Architect-Hybrid Role

Magenium is in search of a SharePoint Systems Architect. This is a Full Time Permanent opportunity.   Opportunity to work for 100% Employee-Owned Company.

 This position will provide senior level engineer, design, support, administration, configuration, and development of our various client's SharePoint environments. This includes ensuring the availability of the SharePoint environment, developing processes and procedures for ongoing management and support, development of training materials, managing SharePoint governance, and mentoring other technical staff.

 Responsibilities:

• Recommend and execute modifications to the SharePoint environment in order to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
• Migrations tenant to tenant and On prem to Cloud
• Preferred experience with Microsoft Viva & Power Automate
• Lead, coordinate and participate in key process improvements as they relate to the SharePoint environment
• Coordinate and collaborate with network engineering, business applications, and database administration functions to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of corporate servers to meet business demands
•  Lead SharePoint governance design and implementation in the business
• Perform system configuration and management
• Assist infrastructure teams in defining and validating systems backups and recovery procedures.
• Provide guidance to junior members of the team.

Qualifications:

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) preferred.
• Five or more years of progressively more responsible SharePoint administration, engineering and architecture including multi farm environments
• Relational database and operating systems experience with MS SQL database, integration and reporting solutions to be integrated with the SharePoint farm.
• Understanding of SharePoint including management of service applications, web applications, site collection administration, solution deployment, and backup/restore via Central Administration and PowerShell.
