The Opportunity
A leading enterprise organization is seeking a SharePoint Operations Engineer to join its Microsoft 365 team supporting collaboration across a secure, large-scale environment. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who thrives in complex ecosystems and brings deep expertise in SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and M365 administration.
You'll be the technical authority for SharePoint and related services, driving automation, resolving escalations, and collaborating across architecture, identity, and network teams.

You'll be the technical authority for SharePoint and related services, driving automation, resolving escalations, and collaborating across architecture, identity, and network teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues across SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Apps, and Power Automate
- Build and maintain SharePoint sites, Power Apps, and Flows
- Develop advanced PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting
- Administer M365 services: site collections, usage reporting, configuration reviews
- Monitor and respond to ServiceNow ticket queues; participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and resolve escalations
- Interface with Microsoft Support for service degradation and escalations
- Support migration efforts using ShareGate (low priority)
- Create clear, user-friendly documentation and how-to guides
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft 365: SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills
- Experience with M365 Admin Center
- Familiarity with Azure Information Protection (AIP), Microsoft Purview, DLP, and encryption technologies
- Experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) and ShareGate
- ServiceNow experience for incident and knowledge base management
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Microsoft GCC High environments
- Knowledge of legacy technologies: InfoPath, SharePoint 2013 Workflows
- Front-end development: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, SPFx
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot integration
