Job Description
***Only qualified SharePoint Systems Administrator candidates located near the Madison, WI area to be considered due to the position requiring an occasional onsite presence***

Required Experience & Skills:
Conducting systems analyses and configuring third party software/applications (4 - 6 Years)
Collecting and analyzing data and business/user requirements, drawing conclusions, and recommending solutions (4 - 6 Years)
Developing data models and conducting software tests (4 - 6 Years)
With SharePoint administration such as managing permissions, site creation, configuring list views, and implementing workflows (4 - 6 Years)

Responsibilities:
40% Systems analysis and design:
Analyse existing systems and procedures in the correctional institutions, Community Corrections field offices, and other departmental units by examining business functions and processes, organizational structure, job responsibilities, information flow, and computer equipment
Analyse & define business requirements for the development and/or enhancement of SharePoint, SharePoint Online using Power Apps, packaged software applications, electronic forms, workflows, reports, interfaces, Ivanti IT Service Manager Configurations, and data extracts
Learn the methods by which applications can run in a DevOps environment
Conduct business workflow analysis and create and maintain business requirements documentation
Ensure systems tools and methodologies are consistent with agency technical policies and standards
Develop & evaluate application alternatives, recommend changes or improvements that solve the needs of the business
Prepare project plans for small projects and/or provide detailed tasks to be included in the project plan
Develop detailed design specifications and interact with system users to assure a mutual understanding and agreement on design specifications
Estimate resources required for proposed program changes
Provide independent project management leadership over complex application projects
Attend and participate in meetings and provide regular project status review reports as appropriate

40% Programming and implementation of computer solutions for the business community:
Develop prototypes following proposed design to demonstrate approach for approval
Program application components to implement application business logic and/or generate user interface content including global and specific program documentation
Develop and review detailed program specifications
Compile and link application components as necessary using compiler software.
Develop and code complex collaboration, Service Desk, and business applications, which meet the business requirements and department standards
Develop & maintain appropriate program documentation
Develop & document software unit test plans
Develop test data and demonstrate validity of the application component
Develop, document, & coordinate system integration test plans
Coordinate systems installation

10% Provide technical application support and training to client staff on the use of information systems and resources:
Assess customer needs effectively and communicate in a clear, concise manner with customers of varying technical levels both verbally and in writing
Identify new information or problem areas necessitating staff training or technical assistance
Create and maintain effective product documentation for efficient development, maintenance, and support activities
Prepare information, manuals, handouts, demonstrations, and training formats for effective presentation

10% Other related tasks:
Provide input to BTM supervisors to discuss pertinent issues related to application development or support of collaboration applications
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Track time against appropriate tasks per standards
Increase job knowledge and skill development through appropriate training courses, selected reading, conferences, work assignments, and seminars

Candidate must be a Wisconsin resident or willing to relocate at their own expense. 100% remote within the State of Wisconsin, and contingent worker may have to travel to client Central Office occasionally (1 - 2 times per quarter).
