JDA TSG Canada has an immediate opportunity for a SharePoint Engineer to join our team working as a Customer Engineer (CE). CE s work with some of the largest, and most sophisticated companies in the world, typically the F1000. They are responsible for customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption, and support of SharePoint initiatives, assisting customers in building, deploying, operating, and optimizing complex enterprise environments. CE s are trusted advisors, specialists clients rely upon for guidance, education and adherence for best practices, risk mitigation etc

Location: Greater Toronto, Ontario (remote)

Travel: CE s are home based, typically delivering services via Microsoft Teams

Salary Range: 100,000 - $110,000 based on experience

Primary work includes:

  • Standard Product Work Shops - Training
  • In-Depth Product Reviews - White Board (Chalk Talk) Sessions
  • Health Checks / Assessments
  • Post Operational Review of Product Implementations
  • Product Upgrade / Migration Assessments
  • Systems Performance Reviews
  • Act as the primary technical contact, providing customer visibility, advanced technical support, and problem resolution for corporate customers, including issues raised to the highest levels of management

The experience you need to excel in the role:

  • 4+ years technical support, technical consulting or IT experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT
  • 4+ years experience with SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint 2019
  • Windows Active Directory Services and IIS.
  • Adequate knowledge in SQL
  • Knowledge of PowerShell would be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of Operating System and Networking Technologies.
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting SharePoint, IIS and Active Directory , and SQL Server

Experience in one or more areas preffer:

  • MCSE, MCSA certifications
  • Microsoft Project knowledge
  • A superior knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency in both on-premise SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2016 or 2019 and Office365/SharePoint Online.
  • Support experience of investigating complex SharePoint issues relating to performance, administration, site configuration and customization.
  • General understating of SharePoint administration principals, using SharePoint Central Admin and SQL Management Studio.
