Shift Operator
Compounding Production Lead
Position Overview
The Compounding Production Lead will oversee the compounding and manufacturing processes within our production facility. This role is critical in ensuring that all compounding operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will lead a team, manage production schedules, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the compounding production team to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement production schedules in alignment with demand and capacity.
- Monitor compounding processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct regular training and mentoring for team members on best practices in compounding and manufacturing.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with quality assurance to ensure all products meet specifications before release.
- Facilitate communication between departments to optimize workflow and resolve any production issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a production lead or supervisory role within a compounding or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of compounding processes and industry regulations.
- Background in plastics
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with production data analysis.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
