Siebel Tech Lead Duration: Long Term Hybrid 2-3 days on site in Rockville, MD

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Siebel Technical Lead with proven expertise in Siebel CRM architecture, configuration, and integration. This role demands a strong leader with excellent project management skills to drive end-to-end delivery of Siebel-based solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical delivery of Siebel CRM projects, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Provide hands-on design, development, and support of Siebel applications (Configuration, Scripting, Workflows, EAI, EIM).
  • Manage and mentor a team of developers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
  • Create detailed technical specifications, architecture documents, and integration plans.
  • Oversee project timelines, risk mitigation, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders and client teams.
  • Facilitate UAT, deployment, and post-production support activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Siebel CRM with strong knowledge of Siebel Tools, EAI, EIM, Workflows, Business Services, Open UI, and Web Services.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end Siebel implementations or upgrade projects.
  • Strong understanding of Siebel architecture (horizontal & vertical applications).
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities managing scope, schedules, risks, and resources.
  • Experience with Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in writing clear documentation and technical design artifacts.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with business users and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in integrating Siebel with third-party systems or legacy platforms.
  • Familiarity with Oracle DB, PL/SQL, WebLogic, and Unix/Linux scripting.
  • Siebel Certification or PMP certification is a plus.
