Job Title: Site Maintenance ManagerPay: 150K-170K

Job Description

As a Site Maintenance Manager, you will lead, mentor, and manage site-based Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers within the North American Fulfillment Network. Your role will involve developing business plans for the Maintenance Department and ensuring their successful implementation. You will focus on increasing facility uptime by developing and implementing reliability plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and management to Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers.
  • Develop and implement business plans and reliability plans for the Maintenance Department.
  • Drive maintenance best practices, innovate, document, improve work methods, and standardize processes.
  • Offer guidance to leadership on maintenance and equipment end-of-life issues using ROI and analytical techniques.
  • Oversee budget development, execution, and capital planning.
  • Manage vendor support and equipment relationships, leveraging network size for economies of scale.
  • Monitor, audit, and enforce maintenance execution and safe work practices.
  • Develop and manage budget and contract documents including RFPs, change orders, purchase orders, and invoicing.
  • Provide Fulfillment Center General Managers with visibility over maintenance conduct.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire talent for Maintenance Manager and Area Manager roles.
  • Create a world-class Maintenance organization.

Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of experience managing large complex facilities organizations.
  • 7+ years of management and leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience in corporate or regional maintenance roles leading teams of 80 or more employees, including salaried staff.
  • 7+ years of experience managing employee performance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication, teambuilding, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high expectations.
  • Proficient in data analysis and developing new processes.
  • Self-starter with evidence of driving goals with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in material handling equipment and complex integrated systems maintenance.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills and knowledge of major MHE integrators.
  • Exposure to Lean Concepts, TOC, layout design, cost/benefit analysis, and labor productivity analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project, and SQL.
  • MBA or other Master s degree and/or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
