Overview

Client seeks an experienced Snowflake Cortex specialist for immediate implementation of AI-powered database testing automation.

What We Need

Immediate Technical Execution

  • Snowflake Cortex Mastery: Production experience with CORTEX.COMPLETE() and Claude Sonnet integration
  • Advanced SQL Development: Complex stored procedures, dynamic SQL, metadata querying
  • Database Testing Automation: Automated test generation, execution engines, result analysis
  • Rapid Implementation: Ability to build and deploy production-ready solutions within days, not weeks

Critical Skills (Non-Negotiable)

  • Recent Cortex Experience: Must have used Snowflake Cortex in production within last 3 months
  • Prompt Engineering: Expert-level LLM prompt optimization for database testing scenarios
  • SQL Mastery: Advanced stored procedures, cursors, exception handling, dynamic SQL generation
  • Independent Execution: Work autonomously with minimal direction - we need a self-starter
  • AWS experience: Familiar with cloud solutions AWS Glue, S3, CloudWatch

Success Metrics

  • Speed: Working solution components within first week
  • Quality: Production-ready code that passes client review
  • Coverage: Comprehensive testing across tables, views, stored procedures and data engineering pipelines

Experience Requirements

  • Snowflake Expert: 3+ years, including advanced features and optimization
  • AI Integration: Hands-on LLM integration in data platforms
  • Consulting Background: Used to fast-paced client delivery environments
  • Problem Solver: Can troubleshoot and optimize without extensive support

Personality Fit

  • Self-Directed: Comfortable with "here's what we need, make it happen"
  • Quality-Focused: Writes production-ready code the first time
  • Communication: Clear, concise updates on progress and blockers
  • Adaptable: Can pivot quickly based on feedback

Educational Qualifications:

  • Required - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
  • Preferred - Master s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

Travel:

  • Open to travel based-up on the nature of the engagement.
