Description APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design, architect, and implement software tools and automation frameworks using extensive object oriented programming and languages such as Python. Work on algorithms to perform advanced radio frequency(RF) system parametric characterization and performance optimization on different technologies like WiFi, Bluetooth, Cellular, GPS, NFC etc. Develop and implement scalable and maintainable full-stack software application development with languages such as Django, Objective-C, Swift, or PHP, using Xcode and iOS SDK. Develop and maintain web applications, databases, and data visualization tools. Design software frameworks to proficiently use and communicate with equipment including RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers (VNAs), RF switches, oscilloscopes, and RF filters from various vendors. Proficiently Utilize software version control tools such as Git or SVN and integration tools such as Jenkins. Interface with cross-functional partners such as Firmware, Driver, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to develop software automation solutions used by hardware teams. Work with cross-functional teams, gathering technical requirements, and developing software features. Collaborate with developers and vendors to design and verify applications and productivity tools. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,931 - $220,900/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience and/or education must include:
• Using Python or C++ to develop automation frameworks to support internal tooling, testing, benchmarking for wireless technologies including WiFi, Bluetooth, Cellular, and GNSS.
• Using SQL or Splunk for factory testing data query, analysis, and visualization.
• Using REST API to implement and maintain scalable web services and client-side business Logic.
• Performing backend development of a distributed file system using Java with JPA/MySQL.
• Debugging real-time software applications using debuggers & IDEs, such as Xcode/IntelliJ, to triage and reproduce client/server issues.
• Experience in scripting languages and version control tools such as Shell, Git, Jira.
• Developing modularized frameworks to build testcases that help with analyzing RF parametric, performance testing and performing regulatory certification.
• Developing low level drivers using various communication protocols with different devices and test HW equipment.
