Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Software Development Engineer to design and develop digital software applications and platforms. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members. Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field and completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in each of the following: Node.js; SAS; Relational database management system: Oracle; Programming in Java, Python, R and SQL programming languages; Big Data platforms including Hadoop; Visualization Tool: Tableau; NLP (Scikit-Learn, SpaCity, Pytorch, or Spark NLP); Machine learning operations such as model versioning, model and data lineage, monitoring, model hosting and deployment, scalability, and orchestration; Quantitative analysis techniques, including clustering, regression, and pattern recognition; and Data warehousing and Big Data implementation.

Pay Range: $110406.00/year to $126000.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
