We have been retained by our client, in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area, to deliver a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer on a regular full time basis. To qualify, you must reside within 100 miles of the DFW area, however starting remote outside this radius is possible with a short enough time span to relocate. There are 2 large meetings per year in DFW. This position is 100% remote, from the DFW area.



In this role, the focus is on the OnPrem/Cloud data normalization system cranking through real time data at an amazingly fast rate of speed. Performant data and scalability and testing, onprem and cloud. C++, or C#, or GoLang / GO coding skills are required, it is a big Plus if a candidate has any cloud, or AWS skills, Amazon cloud, DevOps skills for CI/CD pipelines including the test frameworks created and loaded. Log files and metrics are loaded into the data visualization tool to monitor data streams, data pipelines, data packets, data packet loss, and inspect any anomalies / potential for problems further, anything that looks like it might turn into a performant problem needs to be inspected further. find performant improvements. take steps, make system or code changes. Maintain and improve the part of the system doing the normalization and verification of data, then formatted into proprietary format, is sent on their proprietary network protocol. Optimize data processing pipelines, always looking for process improvements, reduce data packet loss, ensure complete data with quality checks of data streams with test frameworks, also integration of test frameworks, all into the CI CD pipelines, and deploy with confidence. A basic understanding of switch programming can be learned, and NIC card configuration changes can be learned, but if you have some knowledge of these, please share it with us.



Qualifications:




  • We require a candidate with a Bachelors degree, but we prefer a Masters degree

  • Strengths include 3+ YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE coding any these languages:

    C++, C#, or GO (GoLang)

    Some SQL skills.

    We prefer someone who has or can handle high speed data or data streams and may have provided system improvements for preventing data packet loss or improving performance, scalability, or testing. Someone who knows how to release with confidence. The focus is a data normatization system.



Preferred Qualifications: Cloud based solutions. AWS. Amazon cloud. Azure cloud. Google Cloud Platform. Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes (K8S), data visualization tools, data dog, A basic understanding of CI CD pipeline design, build. test frameworks created, used and loaded into CI CD. A basic understanding of network protocols, TCP, UDP, and mechanisms for communication, basic switch programming, basic NIC configuration changes.



Employment Type: Regular Full-Time



Salary Range estimated: $125,000 165,000 / year
