Grainger Corporate Services LLC is seeking a Software Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field plus 5 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Gain foundational knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) through hands-on projects and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, with practical experience in core services like EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC, emphasizing security and scalability; Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, and develop custom Python scripts for system monitoring and routine operational tasks; Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as CircleCI and GitHub to streamline application deployment and integration workflows; Provide AWS support by troubleshooting cloud resource issues, resolving networking problems, and addressing application deployment challenges. Up to 20% domestic travel required. 100% remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S.
Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $154,000.00 to $164,000.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills.
