Position: Software Engineer Code Review (Go)
Type: Hourly Contract
Compensation: $85/hour (based on experience and location)
Location: Remote
Duration: Short-term project (immediate start)
Commitment: Minimum of 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)
- Review and audit Go codebases, GitHub issues, and pull requests to assess quality and correctness.
- Conduct code reviews to evaluate real-world bug fixes and software patches.
- Analyze and interpret large-scale codebases with attention to maintainability and scalability.
- Ensure best practices in CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and integration testing are followed.
- Provide structured feedback to support the evaluation of AI systems learning from real-world coding tasks.
- Work independently and asynchronously with flexible working hours.
Requirements
- Proficiency in the Go programming language.
- Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects with real-world bug fixes.
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub workflows in collaborative development.
- Demonstrated expertise in code reviews for production-level codebases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and integration testing practices.
- Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported).
