Software Engineer SME

Raytheon is seeking a software developer and application architect to perform will provide full-lifecycle application development; designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages software development. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a complex environment.

Support full stack development of applications with Salesforce Health Cloud. Work closely with IT Project Manager and other Application Developers to design, implement, and maintain systems with a high level of quality. Design screens, write and test code/scripts on the Salesforce platform. Lead a consistent approach for evolving applications into next generation technologies such as serverless and microservices.

Responsibilities:

• Perform software development designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages;
• Lead development & deployments of multiple Salesforce applications
• Guide the Salesforce solution architecture for all health-related modules (apps) in the overall ecosystem
• Perform moderately complex analysis, design and development of new solutions, maintain existing software baselines;
• Support customers using the developed tool sets

Requirements:

Full stack developer

• Ability to design and develop new solutions and maintain existing software baselines
• Skills include experience in modern web development, writing JavaScript, Apex, and Visualforce
• Ability to work self-directed as well as work in teams
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Understanding of AWS DevOps
• Understands the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) lifecycle
• Familiar with JIRA
• Proficiency with GitHub
• Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
