About this Position

Looking for an eager to learn, self-motivated applicant who will be responsible for testing and ensuring that the company contests and recognition projects are implemented with a high degree of accuracy. They will be responsible for testing the recognition and competition tracking and reporting applications and other systems, including the addition of new products and milestones. Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for participating in Disaster Recovery / Continuation of Business testing.

Candidates must reside in the metro Atlanta Area

Salary: Up to $70K

Hybrid Role, first 90 days candidate will be 100% onsite.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Software testing analyst will be responsible for reading / understanding business specifications to develop detailed test plan with appropriate tools.
  • Analyst will be responsible for testing (using SQL, Access, or other tools), documenting (Word, PowerPoint, etc) results, and adding enhancements to ensure programming matches the business specifications, and all scenarios are fully tested.
  • Analyst must be able to work with personnel across functional departments, interfacing with management and occasionally
  • Sales reps to assist in production research.
  • Applicant will be required to participate in Disaster Recovery by testing our supported systems.
  • Ability to validate test results to multiple sources
  • Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, glitches, and other issues that impact user experience
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure fixes and enhancements don't introduce new problems.
  • Accurately document and track software bugs, providing developers with clear instructions on how to reproduce and resolve them.

Essential Skills
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex software systems to uncover hidden bugs.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous focus on identifying even the smallest software glitches.

  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of SQL, programming, test automation tools and bug-tracking systems.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and maintain detailed schedules and to-do lists

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of field force hierarchy structure a plus
  • Must be able to use various Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Python is recommended, but not required
