Genesis10 is currently seeking a Solution Architect - Client Implementations for a 12 month contract role in the healthcare industry in Eagan, MN. This role is 100% remote.

Purpose:
This role will focus on engaging with the Implement Efficiencies program and be a key resource in the support of high probability new Prime client implementations. The main function of a Solution Architect is to develop and deliver pragmatic business solutions that fulfill specific business objectives and service level agreements. This is while balancing important concerns such as adherence to established practices, alignment with enterprise strategy, accountability to Prime's financial objectives, and working in a collaborative team environment. The Solution Architect role is key for defining and aligning the go-forward architecture.

Daily Responsibilities/Job Description:
Lead creation of conceptual and logical specifications for all layers of the client implementation solution (people, process, technology, and information) through collaboration with business, enterprise, application, security, and infrastructure architects.
Develop architectures to include software, hardware, and communications to support initial requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for Prime IT architecture, and profiles of standards as they apply to the implementation of developed architectures and specific to the solution for the platform, integration with other systems and any external interfaces.
Responsible for collaborating with enterprise architecture to develop enterprise artifacts for reuse by subsequent projects.
Interaction level with Management/Team Members:
It is important to interact with IT and business management about the initiatives assigned. High interaction and collaboration with Team Members are a must and must be comfortable in engaging in both technical and business discussions.
Engage in and assist with technology spikes to evaluate new technology additions or existing technology expansion.

Skills
1. 7+ years of solution architecture experience working on Applications, Data, Services and API initiatives.
2. Experience working as a pre-sales architect and implementation architect for software solutions, preferably in Healthcare, experience defining a variety of solution types, such as new system builds, legacy enhancements, build vs. buy analysis, integrating COTS software packages, Software-as-a-Service or Platform-as-a-Service components of the solution.
3. Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures to technical assignments.
4. Direct experience with Agile Lean Architecture.
5. Strong collaborator with business and technical colleagues, adept at building rapport.

Additional Qualifications/years of experience:
10+ years of work experience in IT, including 5 years in system integration, software development, or application architecture.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
Experience as a Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, with Architecture Patterns.
Experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages; Event Driven Architecture and Mesh Architecture.
Experience with driving technical planning and solutions for software portfolios, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations.
Experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads

Preferred:
Experience in implementing Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) solutions within Health Care payer solutions
Experience working with Claims Adjudication.
Experience working with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar Agile Processes.

Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay: $80.00 to $85.00/hour
