This individual will be responsible for:
The Space Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer will design, integrate, and test advanced space model capabilities to support client's Live, Virtual, and Constructive training environments. The role includes developing new models of space and ground phenomena, adapting and integrating existing capabilities, and implementing messaging formats and APIs (HLA, DIS, TENA) for system interoperability. The engineer will collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, program managers, and DoD stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery, while rigorously testing and evaluating models to meet mission requirements and enhance warfighter readiness.
We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:
5+ years developing and testing space domain models (EMI, RF propagation, satellites, radar, PNT constellations, cyber effects) using Matlab/Simulink and AFSIM.
Proficient in Python, C++, and C# with expertise in integrating models via HLA, DIS, and TENA messaging standards.
Skilled in Agile/Scrum collaboration, engaging DoD stakeholders, engineers, and program managers, and translating complex technical details into clear deliverables.
Eligibility and willingness to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
