Position Background:

This role supports the Financial Data Management (FDM) team on FIN360 platforms, serving various UHC Finance & Accounting business units including E&I, C&S, M&R, A&C, and Regulatory. The position focuses on maintaining existing applications and developing new solutions to enhance data processing, reporting, and automation capabilities.
Team Overview:

You will join the DS3 Solution Delivery team within FDM, which consists of 4 agile teams totaling approximately 25 developers (onshore and offshore).

  • SQL (Snowflake, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server)
    Culture: Collaborative, agile-driven, and focused on delivering high-quality financial and accounting data solutions.
Top Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy data analytics programs and processes using SAS and relational databases.
  • Collect, interpret, and aggregate data from multiple sources for analytics and reporting.
  • Develop dashboards and data visualizations to meet business requirements.
  • Utilize BI tools, statistical software, and query languages for analysis and solution building.
  • Solve moderately complex problems and translate concepts into actionable solutions.
  • Interact with business users for new projects, enhancements, and issue resolution.
  • Document requirements, designs, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide production support including job monitoring, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
Ideal Candidate Background:
  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Data Science, or IT.
  • 5+ years programming experience with BASE SAS, SAS/Macros, Proc SQL.
  • 5+ years data analysis experience with large datasets and relational databases.
  • 5+ years SQL development experience.
  • 2+ years Python programming experience.
  • Experience with modern data pipelines for reporting, analytics, and ML features.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Advanced SAS Programming Certification.
  • 2+ years experience with Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Databricks experience.
