Job Title: Sr Data Architect (Databricks and BigQuery)

Location: Dallas, TX (3 days onsite)

Duration: 12 months


Experience: 8 10 Years

Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect to design, build, and optimize large-scale data warehousing and AI-driven analytical solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data modeling, application data integration, and modern cloud data platforms with strong expertise in BigQuery and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement large-scale data warehousing and data lake solutions.
  • Lead migration initiatives from Databricks to BigQuery.
  • Define and implement data models to support application development and analytics.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and AI teams to design scalable Data + AI solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are upheld.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical data architecture.

Required Skills:

  • 8 10 years of experience in Data Architecture, ETL, and Data Modeling.
  • Strong expertise in Google BigQuery and Databricks.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data integration frameworks.
  • Experience in data migration and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with App Development Data Models and AI/ML integration.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-native architecture (Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or AWS).
  • Understanding of modern data mesh or lakehouse architectures.
  • Prior experience leading data modernization or migration projects.
