Job Details
We are looking for a Sr. Data Engineer with Oracle DB, Python and any ETL toll exp. It is a fulltime onsite role at Irving, TX or Tampa FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust data pipelines and ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse or data lake.
- Work extensively with Oracle Database: writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL scripts.
- Build Python-based data processing solutions for automation, transformation, and quality checks.
- Develop and maintain ETL jobs using any modern ETL tool (e.g., Informatica, Talend, ADF, Pentaho, DataStage, etc.).
- Ensure high data quality, integrity, and governance through automated validation and auditing.
- Partner with business analysts, data scientists, and application developers to understand data needs and implement effective data solutions.
- Troubleshoot data issues and provide root cause analysis and fixes.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing.
- Deep expertise with Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning).
- Strong hands-on experience in Python for scripting and data engineering tasks.
- Experience with at least one enterprise-grade ETL tool (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, etc.).
- Proficient in data modeling concepts and best practices (star/snowflake schema, normalization).
- Solid understanding of data warehouse and data lake architectures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
