Tax Term: W2/1099 Only
Location: Basking Ridge, New Jesrey(5 Days onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analytics and Governance Specialist to join our team and help build and manage a modern, cloud-based data ecosystem. In this role, you will lead enterprise-wide data governance initiatives, implement and administer Collibra, and ensure strong data quality, compliance, and accessibility across the organization.

You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to align governance capabilities with organizational objectives, support regulatory compliance, and enable trusted, well-managed data for analytics and decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a forward-looking data strategy within a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver large-scale data governance initiatives focused on improving data quality, accessibility, and analytics enablement
  • Implement, configure, and administer Collibra Data Governance, including workflows, data cataloging, lineage tracking, policy management, communities, assets, roles, and quality metrics
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align governance features with enterprise data governance objectives
  • Define and maintain governance policies related to data privacy and regulatory compliance, including GDPR, CCPA, and similar frameworks
  • Monitor platform upgrades, generate governance and compliance reports, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and guidance to users on Collibra platform usage and data governance best practices
  • Support metadata management, data lineage, data cataloging, and integration with enterprise platforms such as data warehouses, data lakes, MDM, and ETL systems
  • Work within an Agile delivery environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable governance solutions
  • Lead workshops, drive stakeholder alignment, and clearly communicate complex governance concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of professional experience in data governance, analytics, or related domains
  • Proven, hands-on experience implementing and administering Collibra Data Governance
  • Expert knowledge of data governance frameworks, principles, and best practices, including policies, stewardship, ownership, glossaries, data quality, and issue management
  • Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, data cataloging, and enterprise data integration patterns
  • Experience supporting regulatory and compliance requirements for data, including GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations
  • Proficiency in data modeling and/or SQL
  • Experience with cloud and data technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Spark, Kafka, and Databricks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, facilitate workshops, and drive consensus in complex environments
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale data governance or Collibra implementation programs within global organizations
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, or a related field
  • Must have: Strong knowledge of the insurance domain

Preferred / Optional Qualifications

  • Collibra certifications such as Collibra Ranger or Collibra Governance Specialist, or equivalent governance tool certifications
  • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and data quality tools
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Prior experience working within the insurance industry
