Contract description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing release management strategies and processes using SWOT analysis and other industry methodologies to pinpoint key areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather insights on challenges and recurring issues within the release management lifecycle.
  • Recommend enhancements to the release management process that align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective release management practices and tools, including GitHub, Jenkins, Helm, IBM UrbanCode, Terraform, ServiceNow, DataDog, Splunk, Kubernetes, AWS, SonarQube, and JFROG.
  • Lead initiatives to continuously improve release management practices, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in deployment processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, demonstrating a strong track record in release management.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools, with hands-on experience in containerization technologies.
  • Solid understanding of configuration management tools and their application in release management.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, complemented by strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This is primarily a remote role but will require onsite presence for first week and occasional onsite team meetings.
