The Ad Platforms team is responsible for building and operating the technology that supports Disney's industry-leading, multi-billion dollar global advertising business. Working across all of Disney's streaming brands and linear channels, this team's scope is wide ranging - they impact everything from core infrastructure development that powers Disney's proprietary ad server, to reimagining viewer-first ad experiences and formats. This team's award-winning, in-house built technologies are the backbone of Disney's ad business and a critical element of the Company's streaming future.

As a Senior Product Manager within the Ad Platform technology team at DEET, you will be a part of the team redefining TV advertising. You will be responsible for campaign management features that power our connection between the world's largest brands and audiences. You will leverage your deep understanding of video advertisers and internal ad ops teams to deliver products and features that enable seamless stewardship of ad delivery.

The right candidate for this role must be self-motivated with demonstrated knowledge of digital video advertising and delivery management throughout the lifecycle of direct sold campaigns. Successful candidates possess an obsession for detail and strong internal bias for action, seeking out alignment across distributed technical and non technical partners.

This role will partner closely with our technology, sales, operations, and marketing teams.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Partner with product leads, ad sales, and ad operations stakeholders to unlock new ad delivery capabilities and increase efficiency of large operational organizations
  • Consult on ad policy and ad delivery strategy recommendations based on evolving business objectives
  • Collaborate with other product managers to foster innovation and cohesion across core ad serving, targeting, measurements, data and BI
  • Deeply protective of our viewing experience and approaches problems with a viewer-first mentality
  • Enumerate and identify clear business crucial metrics for setting annualized objectives while closely partnering with Ad Sales/Ops and Engineering to achieve them
  • Partner with Disney Sales, Operations, and Enablement teams to disseminate learnings and align on unified policies for campaign configuration and delivery fulfillment.
  • Evaluate and prioritize competing initiatives by balancing support for existing functionality and developing for future opportunities.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of product management experience, highly preferred from established technology or digital media company.
  • Unwavering bias for execution and follow-through alongside diverse cross functions without formal authority
  • Strong logical acumen to operate as a trusted advisor to engineering and ad teams
  • Able to vet rationale of takeaways and guide investigation
  • Proven experience and success in a product role from ideation to development and release
  • Ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Seasoned analytical communicator able to synthesize nuanced observations into clear and essential insights for executive audiences .
  • Strong understanding of digital ad industry and CTV platforms preferred.
  • High proficiency with Excel, SQL experience desirable
  • Strongly desired: ad operations experience managing direct sold video adversing on behalf of prominent video publishers.

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $149,240 to $200,200 per year and in NYC is $156,292 to $209,660 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
