Join the Publix Shelf Tag team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. This team is responsible for developing and supporting Publix?s Item Management System applications. You will play a key role interacting with enterprise teams, business product management, and 3rd party vendors to analyze and write user stories to develop features that consider user experience, accessibility, performance, quality, cross-system interdependencies, and scalability. Under general guidance, this position is responsible for developing project plans, managing projects, monitoring project performance, and developing implementation plans for highly complex modern technology solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to small and large-scale projects involving enterprise-level applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and scope test efforts for new initiatives.
- Participate in requirements and design discussions to provide accurate test effort estimations.
- Analyze requirements, release notes, and technical documentation to develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
- Manage and maintain test cases and tasks using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Design and execute manual test cases and perform data validation using SQL queries.
- Create and manage test data to support both manual and automated testing workflows.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Support and participate in load and performance testing activities.
- Clearly communicate test results and quality metrics to stakeholders to support go/no-go decisions.

- Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related analytical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing.
- 4+ years of experience with various testing types including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- 4+ years of experience writing and executing complex SQL queries for data validation and test support.
- 4+ years of experience in test case design, development, and execution, using test management tools.
- 2+ years of experience developing automation frameworks using tools such as Cucumber, Playwright, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- 2+ years of experience using Azure DevOps for task and defect tracking.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including Agile/Scrum practices.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing automation test strategies, with proficiency in scripting using industry-standard languages.
- 5+ years of experience conducting software quality assurance for enterprise applications.
- Experience in Scrum/Agile
- Experience with Oracle databases
- Experience developing, testing, and executing automated test cases using an automated testing framework.
- Competent in both manual and automated testing of REST, SOAP, and JSON APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, and automation libraries such as Rest Assured and RestSharp.
- Familiar with development tools like Visual Studio IDE, Visual Code.
- Experienced in utilizing Microsoft Azure DevOps for Test Plans, Repos, and Pipelines, including the integration of test automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Adept at conducting performance testing for APIs, backend systems, and user interfaces.
