Company Description
Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr Resident Engineer - Software (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. Integrate automotive electronic products into vehicles while providing a positive experience for a major automaker. Act as liaison to support Bosch and a major automaker's engineering teams. Assist in defining and evaluating product requirements. Evaluate design alternatives. Root cause technical issues and drive process improvements on-site, including RF analysis. Oversee, review, and report program milestones. Support release of products in the automaker's database, as needed. REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience as an Automotive Resident Engineer, RF Development Engineer, or occupation involving an Automotive OEM. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) RF vehicle field analysis; (2) Vehicle CAN bus and CAN tools (Vehicle Spy or Vector CANoe); (3) Automotive Embedded systems engineering; (4) Active vehicle-level root cause analysis and product application; (5) US auto manufacturers; and (6) Software Debugging tools (e.g. WINIdea). Less than 10% travel is required. No Telecommuting Allowed.
