Sr Solutions Architect (Only PST Zone)

Job Title: Sr Solutions Architect
Duration: 6 month contract to start, potential for FTE (Remote)
Locations: West of Mississippi - (PST Time ONLY)

Job Description:
This role is primarily business-facing, working with other groups inside to design and document solutions to meet business needs. Additionally, this role is responsible for working with subject matter experts to maintain design and plans for existing systems and environments and develop roadmaps for the future. Client's infrastructure is located throughout North America. These operations include wind and solar power generation plants and energy storage facilities owned and/or managed by and all data center and cloud operations environments. Additional responsibilities include working collaboratively with other technology architects, corporate business users and other technical contributors. The Solutions Architect also leads the design and support of client systems compliance within our regulated NERC CIP environment.

Qualifications:
Batchelor s degree and 10+ years direct experience
Minimum 10+ years proven work experience developing solutions in a multi-site corporate environment. Minimum 10+ years proven work experience designing, implementing, administrating, supporting, and maintaining systems.
Minimum 2+ years proven work experience as a solution architect and/or infrastructure domain architect.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and issues.
Proven ability to work closely with business leaders to understand requirements and develop solutions.
Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with peers and cross-functional team members from a variety of business functions
Strong knowledge in server virtualization, authentication, storage and/or cloud.
Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud Services. Strong plus to have working knowledge of Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Technical/operational level understanding of VMware and/or Nutanix AHV and virtualization requirements and monitoring.
Thorough understanding of Active Directory and Azure AD.
Demonstrated ability to be productive and produce quality results in a dynamic work environment.
Experience designing and implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
Knowledge of SCADA and/or other Operational Technology (OT) technologies is a plus.
Knowledge of enterprise applications such as SAP, ArcGIS, and AVEVA PI is a plus.
