Sr System/Desktop Support (Unix/Windows/Active Directory)

Please take a look at the requirement for  IT Analyst- CA, which is open and currently the client is hiring.

Position: IT Analyst/Support (Unix/Active Directory/Windows) -Open Position-CA
Type: contract
Duration: 12+ months 
Location: Pleasanton, CA (Initial onsite and then Hybrid (after 2 months)

Minimum Qualifications· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, CIS, or related field and Minimum three (5) years’ experience in IT or a related field, including Minimum one (1) year in information security, network engineering, application development, or desktop support and CIS. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Preferred Qualifications·

One (1) year experience working on cross-functional project teams

• One (1) year experience performing vulnerability assessments of IT technologies.
• One (1) year work experience requiring the development of technical documents or presentations.
• One (1) year experience working on projects or programs requiring the integration of cross-functional technology and/or business solutions.
• One (1) year experience in IT incident management, including the development and/or deployment of remediation plans in ITIL environment.
• One (1) year in the operation of SIEM solutions.
• One (1) year experience in cyber forensic analysis and investigation, including evidence collection and preservation. · One (1) year in the operation of data protection and/or DLP solutions.
• One (1) year experience in data analytics.
• One (1) year experience in cyber security threat response and investigation.
• Two (2) years software or application development/testing experience.
• One (1) year experience in business continuity, crisis management, or disaster recovery.
• One (1) year experience in network administration.
• Two (2) years’ experience in Windows/Intel administration or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA). 
• Two (2) years’ experience in UNIX/Linux administration.
• One (1) year experience in security penetration testing or related security research.
• Security certification (Security+, CISSP, CISA).
• Global Information Assurance certification(s).

• 
  Specific Systems Knowledge Required: Unix/Linux/Windows platforms, ARS/AD, Scripting languages and other
  • Specific Systems Knowledge Preferred: KACE or other workstation management systems, One Identity Manager, Enterprise Reporter, VDI, Problem Management, Project Management, Change Enablement

Unix - Active directory ( how to do set ups, manage authorizations- and analysis - excellent communication skills to be able to make recommendations to stakeholders about the technology to use with certain projects and then be able to support and maintain that technology on the back end
