Role: Senior Systems Administrator
Location: Arlington, TX (Onsite)
Rate: $100,000-$115,000
Duration: Direct Hire

Position Overview:
The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for managing enterprise infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and supporting internal teams across the organization. This role requires strong expertise in Windows Server, virtualization, cloud platforms, and Microsoft technologies, with a focus on delivering secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Administer Microsoft Active Directory, Azure (VMs, Entra, SSO), and Windows Server 2022 (patching, backups, new builds, updates).

Manage Microsoft Office 365 administration and related services.

Draft technical documentation for both technical and non-technical staff.

Support internal and external audits related to policy rules and change management processes.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience Required
-
Minimum 10 years of systems administration experience.

At least 8 years managing virtual environments.

Minimum 5 years of experience with Azure or AWS.

MCSE or equivalent certifications preferred.

Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900) a plus.
Skills and Abilities Required

Strong experience with cloud technologies.

Proficient in Office 365, Active Directory, and MS Entra.

Highly proficient with Windows Server 2022.

Expertise in virtualization platforms.

Strong Powershell, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and DFS skills.

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and GitHub.
Collaboration and Development

Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver solutions on time.

Provide technical guidance and recommendations to team members and management.

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Develop expertise in banking technologies, regulatory requirements, and IT frameworks.
