Pay Range: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour (No PTO, benefits, etc but self funded ACA-compliant healthcare plan available to opt-in to)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Systems Engineer. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful integration, verification, and validation of complex systems, specifically within the domain of Spinal Cord Systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system integration and verification, with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure system functionality and performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, providing effective solutions to enhance system reliability.
- Conduct system integration and verification activities, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and technical specifications.
- Perform technical planning and analysis at all stages of the system lifecycle, from concept to disposal.
- Evaluate alternatives considering cost, risk, supportability, and other factors to deliver optimal system solutions.
- Translate customer requirements into detailed hardware and software specifications through functional analysis and trade studies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in system integration and verification.
- Strong expertise in functional system testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work both remotely and onsite, with a minimum of four days per week onsite.
