ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril's Test and Evaluation (T&E) team is focused on organizing and reporting on all of Anduril's products through their respective development. T&E is pursuing a Data & Operations team lead, focused on combining our internal data analytics with operational processes and business systems to make insights prompt, accurate, and actionable. As a Data Operations Lead, you will collaborate with stakeholders and drive partnerships across all of Anduril to improve decision making, accelerate analysis, and optimize outcomes. Your work will directly increase the velocity of the organization by becoming an expert on our most critical workflows such as staffing and resources, test processes, telemetry analysis and visualization, product and/or test initiative performance, and operational sustainment.

US Salary Range
$166,000-$220,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the user-focused development of our internal analytics dashboards and data driven applications to surge real-time awareness and forecasts for our Test and disciplined engineering staff
- Collaborate with Test Engineering and Business Operations & Analytics to learn their workflows and maximize effectiveness of leading digital visualization tools. Partner with our internal visualization and analytics teams to build out the data models and tooling so that we can create the digital twin of Anduril's operations
- Own the deployment, training, and maintenance of our user-facing data stack - it's your responsibility that it works for the organization
- Continuously seek internal opportunities for improvement, map aggressive solutions, and lead through change to make solutions a reality
- Become a trusted resource for Anduril leadership in helping them run their organizations more effectively
- Automate the aggregation of metrics and detection of widespread trends or issues across the fleet
- Build and maintain a catalog of data and tools to enable analysis of metrics across the fleet such as operational performance analysis, historical trend analysis, root cause analysis, and predictive analysis. Onboard engineering and operational teams to these tools to democratize support of production systems
- Apply performance baseline as a rubric for all new operational deployments and update site installation processes to measure success in this manner
- Lead technical investigations about operational issues and performance trends. Contribute to root cause analysis within engineering, supply chain, training, or elsewhere in the business
- 8+ years of experience in a consultative analyst role - consulting or data analytics, or strong engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science
- You have experience building and leading a high-performing team
- Proven success with new products/programs within aviation or aerospace related industries
- You are motivated by our mission. We are working to solve the biggest problems in defense
- You thrive in cross-functional projects that have a heavy combination of technical requirements and user-focused workflows
- Experience with SQL, Python, Typescript or other programming languages, or the sheer willpower to learn them in a short-order
- Familiarity with data stack tools a plus: dbt, Redshift, Looker/Tableau, Palantir Foundry
- You are empathetic: you are eager to see the world from your users' perspective
- You're energized by business impact, have something to prove, or have a chip on your shoulder: you love to drive the direction of ambiguous projects with superb results
- Have a desire to learn best practices for programming and analytics tools while delivering products to our users at a high velocity
- U.S. Persons status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data

- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
