Sr. Application Support Administrator
Job Details
A top health insurance provider is currently seeking an Application Support Administrator to support them on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Help team manage automated windows build process and the SN CMDB.
- Offers consultation and provides senior leadership in support of all major production applications and related projects.
- Understands all integration points with existing systems and related infrastructure to provide guidance and direction with production applications configuration and implementations.
- Provides top level support for all problem resolution and troubleshooting activities.
- Provides direction and design for the setup, configuration, integration and implementation of major production applications into the production environment.
- Must be willing to adjust schedule to perform maintenance and upgrades outside of business hours and be part of an on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge in Windows administration, scripting and Service Know administration
- Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or a related field, or commensurate experience in a professional environment, required.
- 5 years - Experience in Information Technology required
- 3 years - Experience within Mainframe and/or Distributed batch environments required.
- 1 year - Knowledge of computer systems operations for Windows/AIX/Mainframe environments.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas, problem/solution/business value descriptions that can be understood by a broad audience.
