Job Title: Sr. Control-M Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid 2 days onsite per week)
Employment Type: 6+ Month Contract
MOI: First round Virtual round
Job Description / Client Requirements:
Sr. Control-M Engineer to support and enhance their scheduling/orchestration environment and lead the migration from self-hosted Control-M to Helix Control-M SaaS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, configure, and optimize Control-M scheduling/orchestration tools
- Lead the migration from on-prem/self-hosted Control-M to Helix Control-M SaaS
- Configure workflows and jobs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure orchestration efficiency
- Integrate Control-M with CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments
- Apply industry best practices for orchestration, job scheduling, and efficiency
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Utilize BMC migration tools for migration activities
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Control-M (administration, configuration, support)
- Strong expertise with Helix Control-M SaaS (priority given to candidates with direct Helix experience)
- Experience working in AWS hybrid environments
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Experience with workflow orchestration best practices
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to work with business & IT stakeholders
- Familiarity with BMC migration tools (highly preferred)
Good to Have:
- Prior experience in the Banking / Financial Services domain
- Exposure to automation frameworks and scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.)
